Department of Energy/NNSA

The Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration’s (NNSA’s) Office of Conversion (NA-231) has been assisting potential domestic producers of Mo-99 with development of their production processes that refrain from using highly enriched uranium (HEU) and with securing the national supply of Mo-99. This assistance is in the form of Work Package agreements with the DOE National Laboratories and is funded by the U.S. Congress.

Labs

Eden has licensed the All-Target Reactor concept from Sandia National Laboratories. Sandia National Laboratories is operated and managed by National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia, LLC., a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell International, Inc. National Technology and Engineering Solutions of Sandia operates Sandia National Laboratories as a contractor for the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and supports numerous federal, state, and local government agencies, companies, and organizations

State of
New Mexico

Eden has received funding from the State of New Mexico through the Technology Readiness Gross Receipts (TRGR) Tax Credit program. In 2020, the New Mexico Legislature created a Technology Readiness Gross Receipts Tax Credit for the purpose of helping businesses achieve technology maturation for commercialization opportunities that require improvements on a pre-existing invention. As a result, Los Alamos and Sandia National Laboratories established the TRGR Technology Readiness Initiative. Eden received a TRGR award with Sandia National Laboratories in 2020.

DOE National Laboratories

Eden has worked with the DOE National Laboratories over the past four years in developing its technology. DOE Work Packages with Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12), Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Argonne National Laboratory (ANL), Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL), Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) have helped us in advancing our technology to achieve our goals and reach our technology readiness.
