New Generation Nuclear Radioisotope Reactor Infrastructure to Power the Future of Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment
URGENT, EXPLOSIVE $27 BILLION CLINICAL MARKET NEED
- 80% of global medical isotopes are produced in unreliable 60+ year-old converted nuclear research reactors.
- Unplanned outages and planned decommissioning of old, inefficient, costly, and unreliable reactors by 2030 will intensify the growing clinical radioisotope demand vs supply gap creating a national-security and patient-care risk.
- The U.S. is >50% of the global demand for Molybdenum-99 (Mo-99) nuclear diagnostics yet imports 95% of its Mo-99.
- Starting in 2030, when Eden US is projected to start production, and decades thereafter, demand for a wave of novel cancer killing radiotherapeutics based on Lutetium- 177 (Lu-177) is projected to soar from $2.7 billion/year to $30.1 billion by 2035 (27.4 % CAGR).
- There is one Lutetium-177 ( Lu-177) provider in the US and two others trying don’t come close to satisfying Lu-177 demand or approaching Eden’s production cost efficiencies.
EDEN’S SOLUTION & COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
Fuel Design:
- Eden’s 2 MW “all target” reactor design is purpose- built for low-cost, continuous and concurrent medical radioisotope production.
- Based on a unique, proven fuel solution developed by Sandia Labs, exclusively licensed to Eden, and the inventors are now part of the Eden team.
- The uniqueness of the solution is a fuel recycling approach which uses 90% of the uranium, resulting in 2 important benefits: significantly lower production costs, and no spent fuel.
Facility Design:
- The facility design integrates hot cell processing with the reactor, significantly reducing production times and costs.
- A dual facility approach, the first in New Mexico, the second in New Brunswick, Canada to assure geographic redundancy and uninterrupted supply provides delivery security to customers, and flexible capacity, scalability, and business resiliency to Eden.
- First production targeted for 2H 2030, precisely when Lu-177 demand surges to a 20-24% CAGR
- 30–36-month Series B runway to shovel-ready status, placing investors first in line for the larger Series C build-to-production investment.
EDEN’S SOLUTION & COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
- Raising $80m Series B equity to accelerate final steps of the New Mexico site Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) construction permit within 2 years of funding concurrent with Canada site selection, environmental assessment and construction permitting within 3 years.
- Includes $10m - $15m incentivized convertible note feature to ASAP fund completion of 2 key milestones by year-end 2025.
- Follow-on $365m construction-through-production funding expected to be 75 % non-dilutive public capital or private debt.
IMPACT & ALIGNMENT WITH INSTITUTIONAL MANDATES
- Classified as critical national infrastructure, delivering domestic isotope security and healthcare resilience.
- Design minimizes waste, promotes recycling, and fits Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Impact- investing criteria.
- Supports on-shoring, supply-chain security, and high- margin long-duration cash flows.
WORLD CLASS EXECUTION TEAM
- Technology exclusively licensed from Sandia National Laboratories; inventors now lead Eden.
- Leadership spans 30–50 years in nuclear medicine, reactor engineering, and NRC licensing, with pedigrees from Nordion, Mallinckrodt, Sandia, Bechtel and NRC.
CALL TO ACTION
Investors have a rare chance to lead and shape the only purpose-built, low-cost, North-American isotope platform just as demand explodes and legacy reactors retire.
Acting now secures a preferred position for follow-on rounds, aligns capital with life-saving impact, and targets venture-style multiples backed by long-term infrastructure economics.
